Big Data is a phrase used to mean a massive volume of both structured and unstructured data. Thus, it is
difficult to process using traditional database and software techniques.
The style of Bigdataism is based on the big data for creating artworks, or for creating artistic-visual impression of big data. On the following is presented the manifesto for this new kind of art:
Bigdataism is characterized by using data from the media to motivate and inform people for the climate protection and the resulting disatvantages for the humankind in general.
Nature - and species - protection, climate change, air pollution, water pollution, energy resources, health, etc. are some of the themes that Bigdataism treats.
Bigdataism is characterized by its background that is based on a research.
Bigdataism uses data from a research (also in an abstracted way) to create art.
Bigdataism can focus the importance of the big data due to the presented issue.
Also human rights, animal rights will be treated within this style of art.
Bigdataism will be created based on the media art, but also in combination with analogue media such as painting or sculpture.
Bigdataism can also be an artistic-visual expression of big data.
